Great Heat Gun!
I bought this heat gun because I have a Samsuck refrigerator with a built-in ice maker that freezes solid every 2-3 weeks. This heat gun has much more precise heat control than my old plug-in heat gun. I can get the job done in about the same time (~20 minutes), with the added bonus of being able to stand it up on a fridge shelf when I need to mop up the melt water, instead of laying my old one on a counter. It’s light and easy to adjust, and the included nozzle helps get the ice buildup at the back of the icemaker.
This heat gun is great for removing sticky price tags on birthday/Christmas gifts, too! No more sticky remnants left after trying to peel off using fingernails!

Excellent gun
Heats up fast, F° or C° display, 3 attachments included, easy twist to remove attachment, low or high setting switch no need to hold trigger, - or + button to lower or increase temperature, hanger hook, does need a high capacity battery to use for extended time, does take a while for gun to cool down, handle fits well in hand, good price point bare tool, neg- need to invest in battery and charger if not in the metabo platform which I was not and I choose to go with metabo having milwaukee, dewalt, ryobi, makita and flex. I think I choose correctly.

Under powered but still good
The only thing I have to compare this to is a corded unit, which is better.
That being said, I do love this gun. The ability to set a specific temperature has too many uses to list and that made it a must buy for me!

By far best cordless heat gun
By far the best cordless heat gun, never regretted upgrading to the Metabo. Besides the substantial increase in heat from my previous m18 it just easy to use. The variable temperature is something I use most, you don’t realize how essential it is until you have it. I find the switch to be a lot easier than the trigger. Included attachments and quick eject just add to its excellence.

The tool is hot
Not only is it nice its cordless but it uses the batteries I alread own. Its nice that metabo hpt is syarting to make tools besides the common one. Love the digital display and how quick it heats up.

Works great, makes work a lot easier!
I do a lot of DC electrical repairs on lift chairs and power reclining furniture, there are cut cords that need to be shrink tubed, and this has been super to have in my tool kit. no more extension cords draped all over.

Beats other cordless heat guns!
I like few of the functionalities that other heat guns do not have.
It has a slide switch to turn on or off so you don't have to press and hold or lock it like you do with trigger.
The temperature can be adjusted by the actual temperature value via display screen, not just 1 or 2.
The additional attachments that can be placed on the front can be popped out without touching it when it's very hot.
