Years ago we had a bad experience with Maytag but they have been bought and sold a few times since then and I hear they are better now. Quieter than the GE we replaced.

Mid and plain, poorly laid out
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Had it for a couple weeks. It works, but it’s not great. Really behind in space usage, is had to dismantle the interior drawer thing which was heavy and ate up several cubic feet of space for no useful effect other than maybe thermal mass. It holds a lot more if you take the silly center drawer out. Also, the lack of depth in the interior is noticeable, with nowhere to put a 16” or 20” pizza box like my previous model with a bottom interior drawer. At least it makes crushed ice. Not a great purchase, but better than what the competition showed.

Condensation on freezer gasket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was to replace the EXACT same ( older model ) fridge that ice maker started messing up and fridge was not maintaining cold enough temperature. We went with this model because we could swap out handles that matched the other appliances (Maytag ) in kitchen. I am seeing condensation on the freezer gasket though so that is concerning reason for the 4 stars. Hoping that is not an issue of the seal not sealing properly?

Good features, quality and warranty
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had this a couple of weeks now. Just getting familiar with it features and learning where everything should go. So far everything is working really well, and we like the features. Love the pizza storage in the freezer and the push button ice and water work at the same time!!!! Every refrigerator makes unique noises, and this one is no different. It's very quiet during normal operation but occasionally you will hear some motors or actuators that at first alarmed us. I think this is because our last refrigerator died just after making these noises, but they go away after a few seconds and do not happen very often. Glad we got the extended warranty just in case though.
