Solid fridge
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator has been great so far. I’ve owned for several months now with no issues thus far. Sleek appearance. Excellent temperature control. Ice maker is much quieter than other refrigerators I’ve own in the past. My only complaint is that it’s a bit small for my family of 5. It gets tight on grocery day! But all in all a great product.

When I purchased it if failed to notice that it does not have adjustable shelves, I was disappointed!
I replace my old refrigerator (it actually stopped working) with the side by side, my other one had french doors and 2 pull out freezer. This side by side has limited freezer space! All in all I am satisfied with my purchase.

Nice with some complaints
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We like the new refrigerator but has some things we're not crazy about. The drawers mounts are poorly designed and shift around on how they mount to the fridge. They can be off by maybe 3/4" from side to side when you open and close the drawers. It's almost like there are missing pieces. Actually contacted Maytag directly about this and no response. Also, the door has no mid-way opening detent like at 90 degrees. If you open the door half way and let go to grab anything, the door springs open to 180 degrees and slams into the cabinets next to the fridge which are inline with the fridge.

We’ve had this refrigerator for two weeks and have problems since day one. For starters, one of the wheels was missing the bolt that connected it to the leveling mechanism, making it impossible to level. Luckily, I had a bolt that fit through the wheel and was able to reconnect the mechanism (which required lying on the floor while someone else tilted the fridge to the side to allow access to the wheel) Once that fiasco was resolved we were able to continue with the install and the initial setup process for the refrigerator. After following the instructions regarding the water and ice dispenser (dumping three gallons of water and three days worth of ice), we have had problems with ice dispensing from the door. The ice maker MAKES the ice just fine, but getting the ice requires opening the door and physically grabbing it by hand out of the bin. THE DOOR DISPENSER DOES NOT WORK. To get ice from the door requires removing the bin, manually turning the auger while simultaneously holding the metal arm in the “open” position, and reinstalling the bin. This process must be repeated multiple times per day (sometimes within minutes of just having performed the tedious task) otherwise ice WILL NOT DISPENSE from the door. Needless to say, this is not what we expected from a brand new refrigerator, especially a Maytag. We are extremely disappointed and regret the purchase. DO NOT BUY THIS MACHINE!!!!
