It features a combination of three different glass types and antique, black-caming metalwork in square and rectangular shapes. The look complements craftsman and modern style concepts. This glass door lite offers a medium level of privacy with its narrow reed and granite textures. With a three-pane construction, the decorative panel sits in between two tempered-glass panels to protect it from extreme weather. Beautiful Replacement Door Glass Insert
I had planned to replace an old steel entrance door as part of a reno to modernize an older split-level house. Being on a very tight budget I opted to use the existing door and replace the glass insert and lock instead, but all the replacement inserts I had seen were very traditional, ornate, leaded glass designs. Browsing on-line I decided on this insert as the straight lines made it a little more modern than the other ones. I opted to pick it up at my local Rona and, if it proved to not be suitable, I planned to get an immediate in-store refund. Upon examining it, the insert looked like it would work. After installation, painting the door black and replacing the lock with a modern black one, the door looks beautiful - brand new and modern - and I saved hundreds of dollars by not buying a new door that might not even been as nice as my old, repainted door with this beautiful insert.

Gorgeous, modern door lite
This was a great alternative to totally replacing our door (and much more affordable!). It modernized our door and lets in great natural light while maintaining a bit of privacy. The picture makes the pattern seem busy online but in person it looks fantastic and just right. Highly recommend! (We haven’t painted the door yet in the pictures!)
