Great versatile saw
I bought this about three weeks ago and am very happy about. It cuts through 2x4s very easily. Even 4x4s are not much of a problem - just flip it around, align the blade with the existing cut and off you go. Clean and easy.
I can operate the saw easily with my left hand (I am righty, though) when using my speed square as a guide. And there is the only little thing I need to nit-pick about: the motor housing doesn't allow a speed square to be put on the left side of the saw plate because it is so low and will bump into the speed square's edge plate. But I am sure other circular saws have the same issue.
In summary: A powerful, easy to handle circular saw that will be more than enough for all your DYI projects (and more). It even comes with a carrying case.
