Easy on your arms and back!
We bought 2 of these rakes last year for the kids but i find i prefer these over my steel one. Three key benefits; because it is rigid and doesnt have much flex you can rake more leaves at once. The rakes with too much flex flexes right over the leaves if you try and swoop them in one motion. Next, because of the rigidness you use far less power from your arm and back muscles so if you have a large yard you will be very thankful. And lastly it is super lightweight and the handle is a good width so easy on the hands if you have arthritis or just don't want a hand cramp from trying to grip those skinny handles. As the previous user mentioned, it is plastic so you do have to be 'slightly' more careful

Good for the price
I bought this rake more than a month ago, used if several times already, nothing to complain. Of course it is made of plastic so you need to be a bit careful, but overall I am happy with it.

Cheap and broken in a week
I purchased this item and within a week the handle snapped in half while my 68 year old mother was using it to do some raking in the yard. Very little 'use' and it broke less than two weeks after I picked it up. Don't know if this one is a dud, but I wouldn't waste money on this.
