Accepts all threaded hole saws, no adapters required (for the range of diameters lsted on packaging). Collar snaps back and stays in position while changing bits.

Caution
This is a good hole saw arbor except when the set screw comes out and the detent won't work anymore. Make the arbor unsafe to use.

It came with wrong drill bit.
Bought this item with 1" 5/8 hole saw to cut hole in sheet metal control panel. Label state for cutting steel. why it came with masonry drill bit. Had to drill with another drill bit to start the hole. With masonry bit, the shank is smaller than the tip size. when the hole saw engage with sheet metal the masonry drill bit was not providing a good center for the hole saw. The hole size came out terrible.
Will be returning this item.
