Toggling the paddle up and down switches the dimmer's power on and off while sliding the side button up and down will give you the desired brightness for your room.This dimmer is compatible with CFL/LED dimmable bulbs. Nice switch upgrade
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This switch was very easy to install and is definitely an upgrade over standard flippers. The small LED light that shows you were the switch is in the dark is a nice touch. My only complaint is that it's still plastic. At the higher price, I was hoping the face would be aluminum and not plastic meant to look like metal. But in general I'm happy with the switch and it's functionality and looks.

Looks nice
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recieved this a few weeks ago and my husband finally got it installed. We are using it in the garage. We really like it. It is nice to adjust the light brightness and it's so easy to use even my kids can use it. The silver color looks nice and updated and makes a good statement.
