Leadvision offers a kitchen island made from an acacia wood board. The counter features an uneven border (live edge) highlighting the rich and natural aspect of this wood. It measures 39-in (width) by 74-in (length).

Can I use this as a butcher block for chopping as a kitchen island top?
I’d say “no”. We’ve used it for a month as a kitchen table with our young kids and I think if you used it as a cutting board / chopping surface you would quickly ruin the wood finish. Better to add a large wood cutting board on TOP of the wood counter surface.

Great price
Bought 2 of these for our kitchen island. There are a few cracks at the ends which can be expected with this sort of material. Not yet cut & installed but they are beautiful looking.

Beautiful but! … not heat resistant as indicated.
I used a towel folded to a quarter which mean 8 levels of cloth and the hot pot still made the countertop turn white. I’m not sure what the finishing component is, but it’s not heat resistant. Now I need to sand it and match the finishing on my brand new countertop in my redesigned kitchen that we've been working on for over 3 months. The end result will be beautiful but this has put a wrench in our tire at the last stretch of completion. If it didn’t say heat resistant I wouldn’t have said anything.

On the underside there are spaces between the sections. On the top there seems to be a fault as well. Please not I had difficulties adding photos
