I have a Lasko tower heater that has had heavy use over two winters. Works great at half the price of these, so I bought two of this model to heat a home under renovation. All the dusty work is done, but the furnace isn't commissioned yet, so I just need to keep the site at a reasonable temperature. Both units failed in about two months. They started shutting off. If left unplugged for a few minutes, they restart, but then within minutes they stop again. Meanwhile, the $50 Lasko tower churns away 24/7. I had higher expectations for the Lasko brand.
