My door frame is 35”. Should I order 34” or 36” door width
Thank you for the question. The storm doors are manufactured based off your opening size. If your opening is 35" then this would be a custom order. The 34" or 36" will either be too small or too big for your opening.
Please take your opening size to your local Larson dealer. They can help you select the door that will fit your opening size. Availability can vary with size.

We have three Larson Storm Doors #34684036.122130226. It appears the pin on the roll up screen has worn and allowed the screen to tear and be difficult to operate. Is there a replacement screen?

I bought this door about a month ago to install at our house. We have a steel exterior door and door frame. It is a 36 x 81 in door. Our door is straight and square. We used the door latch template and the handle went on great. We are finding the tolerances are too tight. The door handle and deadbolt rub the frame. I am worried that during the winter with any amount of shifting we will not be able to get into our house.

I hate them!
I bought 2 of these doors in August 2023. I thought they were really nice doors, and that's why I decided to go with 2. I thought it would be a bit cheaper for installation, but no!
I've had nothing but trouble with both the doors since about a month after I bought them!

poor design
We bought Retractable Storm Door 8 years ago and had ir professionally installed Because of the "skirt" piece attached on the bottom, rain and snow has entered there and been sucked up into the wood core like a sponge. The swelling has pushed the side of the door out, and now will not close. The side piece cannot be expanded at all to fit back on. This is a very poor design. We now have to replace the door, and it should have lasted a lot longer than 8 years.

Love the door! Concerned about the screen.
Love my Larson door and reputation! I was so excited to have my new retractable screen door installed so I could enjoy the wonderful expanded view that my old one did not have. Knowing I could open the screen and let fresh air in on those beautiful days! Unfortunately the screen had a pucker on the top right short before it closed so I am not able to open it like I would want. The door is beautiful from the outside but being a person who isn’t one to leave the house often it is unfortunate to see. Having purchased this less than a year ago but the problem has been from the beginning and getting worse. I look forward to hearing from Larson as I know they will make it right.

Horrible experience! It is not weatherproof. Water leaked in and the entire interior core became wet, swelled, and pushed the exterior portions of the door away from each other. It will not close, and after 7 years must be replaced. It will not be a Larsen door!

Great out of the gate
About 4 years back we had a Screenaway door installed and loved it from day one. Growing up with two boys, however, makes keeping nice things difficult. 2 years ago the screen became detached from the window and replacing it without completely disassembling the door seems impossible.
Easier service for this door would make it a 4 out if 5, hands down.

Great Product worthy of repeat business
Since 2017, we have been pleased with the quality and durability of our first Larson storm door with a retractable screen on our front porch. Larson was our first and only choice when it came time to replace another storm door this year. Excellent quality, craftsmanship with beautiful finishes and hardware to choose from. Highly recommend Larson!
