My door didn’t come with a closer so it slams . Is it possible to put one on it? I bought a chain stopper but can’t install it on my door

I have the 360-16 door. The sweep needs to be replaced. Your parts page shows the type that came with the door with a non-replicable rubber strip and an optional sweep that looks like the rubber strip is replaceable. Is the optional type replaceable?

I bought the Southport model and after installing it, I tried to put the screen at the top, but quickly learned that the screen can only be on the bottom. Is there a wat to put the screen on the top?

I'm looking at the 660-16 and read that the lower panel is steel. Would the sun shining on it cause excess heat? Do you make a door like this that the lower panel has insulation?

Door handle hardware not suitable for busy home.
I bought this door in 2022. Installation was OK. Door looks good.
Two problems... one I can solve myself, one I cannot.
The first -- the wind takes the door and bends the shaft on the closer cylinder if we're not careful on a windy day. I can bend it back, and install my own chain to fix.
The second -- the inside door handle has now broken 3 times. I've had it replaced twice on warranty already. I'm not sure, but this last time may be just over the 1 year warranty which means it will be out-of-pocket for known poor workmanship (same failure point each time).
I like the handle that pivots the way it does. I can open it while holding things, and my small children can easily get out if they need. My children use the door a lot, so my usage frequency is higher than other families perhaps... that just means your handle will fail outside the warranty window for sure.
The handle hardware is simply not up to the task -- choose another door.

Great Sale Price and excellent service
The price of almost everything has doubled because of #JustinFlation and this door was marked down $80. I've needed a new storm door for a couple years now and when I saw the price I knew this was the door for me.

Looks nice but not holding up well ..
Bought this in Jan 2023 for under $300 which was much more than I had expected. Meanwhile the price on the website today is $389+GST Yikes! 8 months in and plastic components holding the glass to the door are starting to show cracks. Hope it is only cosmetic and not structural!

Nice looking storm door
Fairly easy installation; made more difficult for me because door frame was not completely square and flush so needed some shimming. Door is solid, and looks nice.

Lovely Door, Expertly Installed
I am very pleased with my Larson door. I chose it because it was possible to have the screen at the top or the bottom of the door. Rona did an expert job of installing it for me.

Solid door !
This door was easy to install . It can be right hinge or left hinge so read the instructions carefully . The prep work is important . It’s a heavy door so have someone strong to help you lift it on to the door frame once your ready . It’s best to have a couple saw horses on hand . Hopefully you have a 9/16 drill bit on hand as they are not cheap . If the door is not square you might end up with a gap on the bottom once installed . The only fault is the white weather seal with the rubber attached is not quite long enough to seal properly . The black rubber seal should be a bit longer.

Sturdy door
Just purchased this door 8/9/21 because of the steel bottom panel. Looks very nice and I like the sturdiness of it. Unfortunately, you can't clean the outside of one of the window panels because the screen covers it at one end or the other window panel covers it.
A retractable screen with a steel panel vs those wood core would be a great feature and upgrade.

Looks nice but installation wasn't easy
This door looks nice but I had problems with the installation. Ended up hiring a handyman to install it. Part of the problem is that I have an older house and the frame wasn't square. Product was missing one of the extenders. I called the Larsson Customer service number and they sent out a new one promptly. I feel like this is adequate quality.
