Description
The Savannah 32-in x 81-in solid wood core storm door features a maintenance-free DuraTech(R) surface for protection against age and the weather. The Screen Away(R) retractable screen offers instant ventilation and hides in a cassette at the top of the door when not in use. Heavy duty weatherstrip keeps drafts out. Brass finish Secure Lock(R) handle set includes matching interior and exterior levers and a built-in security lock system. Bottom expander conforms to uneven sills, and reversa-hinge design makes for right or left mounts. EasyHang(R) installation is fast and easy, offering a no cutting system with mounting rail extenders for an exact fit every time.

Great door, let’s lots of light in. Pulldown screen located in upper half of door is awesome especially if you have a dog.

Door rotting
Bought about 5 years ago . Rust all over the door already . Hinge is rotting away . Not good quality at all . Regret purchasing , as now I need a new one after just 5 years

Good solid door
It's a good door, fairly easy to install as long as you door frame has the right trim. Heavy enough that you need a helper to hang it when you get to that stage. Its biggest flaw is that the catch that holds the screen in the cassette does not engage properly and the screen opens over time and must be pushed closed. As I bought this primarily as a storm door and not as a screen door, I consider this a drawback. I tried taping it but the cold and moisture keeps it from adhering properly. I am considering driving in a screw to hold it, but I don't really want to.
Also, I didn't find the door frame screws until I had already got the door up with screws I bought. It turned out that they were in with the door closer package, actually the very last thing to be installed.
So - good, but with a caveat.
