The KRAUS GarbagePro motion sensor trash can feature a battery-operated infrared sensor that detects movement within 6 inches. The lid opens with the wave of a hand for convenient disposal of household waste, or can be operated with manual mode for longer tasks. Innovative bag securing system holds bags firmly in place and out of sight; compatible with all 49 litres (13 gallons) garbage bags. An extra-wide 13 3/4-in opening allows easy disposal of large items. Rectangular shape and 15 in. overall width for placement in narrow spaces while internal hinges allow it to stand neatly against cabinets or walls. Constructed from corrosion-resistant T-304 stainless steel, with premium components like reinforced hinges, soft nonskid silicone feet, and a durable ABS plastic lid for ultimate durability.

Great look, ok design
Decent trash can overall, and the best value if you're trying to stay the all black kitchen look, however, this come up short in 2 ways (minus 1 star each)
1. after just over a year the housing on the lid near the hinge is already cracking because it opens too hard. Superglue is holding for now, but will probably be a problem again soon and open its way to a shorter life
2. the timing of closing is a touch too fast. It gives you a 5 "second" countdown, but its more like 3 seconds

The lid cover cracks ..after 4month
My trash can that I paid heavily for, is broken at the lid edges.. because of the open and close sensor motion .. after a few months use it cracks open ..

13 gallon motion activated trash can
Very not satisfied with this product most of the time the lid opens about 1/4 of an inch and immediately shuts. Would not recommend this product

Great Trash Can!
We love our new trash can! Our favorite thing about our trash can is the no touch sensor. It is so easy to open for kids, & for adults with hands full or dirty from cooking. Closes automatically too. The design is very nice & clean looking as well. It’s a great trash can in which recommend!

Sturdy and stylish
I am loving this trash can, its just the right size for my space. I dont have a designated trash can area so I like that its sleek and modern and doesn’t stand out. The lid closes a bit hard but I’m used to it now. I would definitely recommend!

Exceeds expectations!
Kraus provided me with this product for free in exchange for my honest review. This trashcan is something you didn't know you needed until you get one. It's functional and aesthetically pleasing! The sensor works really well and I love that it automatically shuts itself as well as having a manual open option where you can have it held open for longer period of time if needed. All around very happy with it!

Garbage disposal has never been easier

The touchless feature makes it so easy to throw away all my messy dinner scraps and useless junk mail. I would definitely recommend to friends and family, especially my messy cousins!
