Dead lights after 2 years
The wiring is intact but one day the lights flickered and eventually went off never to turn on again. Very frustrating as this is not built for longevity or the 59,000 hours they claim. Now I don't know what to do.

Do not buy this product
As stated in other reviews here, the wire/connection broke right *after* the warranty period expired, and Kohler's date to supply the replacement component has now been pushed back 3x ... each time we call to check in, the date shifts months further into the future. We have now been waiting over a year for this part.

Expensive for a defective product
We had 2 of these cabinets installed professionally in our remodeled bathroom 4 years ago. As everyone here has already mentioned, the cord is defective and the wear and tear from opening the door causes the wires to eventually fail. My side was the first to go 3 years ago…1 light would flicker and on and off then both, then nothing. We found a replacement cord but it took 4 months to arrive. It worked on my cabinet, then this week, my husband’s cabinet began acting up. We’re going to replace them with another brand. It’s a shame because it’s really a nice cabinet with plenty of storage, but such a waste of money for a simple fixable defect they knew about.

Faulty Wiring - read reviews
Should have read the reviews, I have to two of these that failed with the wiring connection. Called in support, same answer this model was discontinued will replace at 50% for new model. Expected better quality.

Looks Great, but DO NOT BUY
I bought 2 of these mirrors and have had it for almost a year...the light would flicker on and off when opening and closing the cabinet, I think the cord bends when opening and closing the cabinet causing it to short. They sent me the part to repair it and now the other mirror is doing the same thing. Do not waste your money on this medicine cabinet.

Terrible design, had three units fail
While the unit itself is beautiful, and I love the versatility, unfortunately the design of the electrical system is faulty and the wire connecting the lighted door to the wall always fails -- I've had three units ultimately go. Thankfully, Kohler replaced the second unit free of charge.

Worst mirror-don’t buy kohler
I wish I could give them zero stars! I have the same problem with the lights going out. But my problem is worse because I bought 2 mirrors for my master bath that contains his and hers sinks and mirrors. This has become a maintenance item. I never had to maintain a medicine cabinet but Kohler is selling these crap mirrors and clearly don’t make a quality product anymore. They don’t make the wire anymore, so I am screwed. DONT BUY KOHLER!!
