We Bought Another One!
We loved the Cimarron One-piece that we bought a few years ago so much that we bought another one for our newly remodeled second bathroom. It is an extra 1-1/2 higher than most models and has a nice, quality design (one-piece, no visible pipe molding on the side, which I wanted to avoid, and looks great with modern or more traditional decor). It is worth the extra cost. I'd buy a third if I had another bathroom. Keep in mind since it is a one-piece, it is more fragile and should be kept on the palette with the protective packaging until it is installed. Don't just put the box on a pickup truck. It also has a strong flush.

Great design and features
We purchased the Cimmaron one piece toilet for our bathroom renovation. It has a a great modern look, and an outstanding gravity flushing mechanism at only 1.28 gpf. With the lid closed the seat disappears, a very thoughtful design element. Add the very stylish flush handle and curved design. You can't go wrong with the Cimmaron.

Good but I expected more
We decided to sped a bit extra to get this one-piece in a specific color. While it generally is pretty good - I really do appreciate the soft close function on the seat and lid - I feel like it didn't quite hit the mark. The seat is not as comfortable as the one on our (much) older Kohler toilet and, to continue the comparison, it just doesn't flush quite as clean. For the money I expected it to be at least as good as the older one. It's not bad. It just isn't as good as I fee that it should be.

Great design, but they went short on the trip handle
We have three of these toilets. They are good and a favorite of the plumber. BUT, the trip handle is of low quality (where everything is is just grate.) Noticed this on delivery and sure enough the one we use the most, the handle did not hold up. For such a solid toilet and great design to put a flimsy handle that did not hold up is surprising.

Problem seat
Before you spend a lot of $$ on a toilet that states how wonderful the product is, be sure and read the reviews. I have a problem with the seat for this toilet. I have had two plumbers try and fix the seat, but it comes apart as you sit down. I’m a handicapped senior, and it gets scary when sitting down on a toilet seat that is not secure. The seat slides and you end up with part of your anatomy on the cold toilet base. Not a comfortable situation.

Does everything well, except...
Our first time purchasing a Kohler product. Guess we thought performance would be commensurate with price. Have purchased or inherited many toilets of all shapes and sizes over the years and this "Cadillac" of commodes comes out on the bottom for one extremely important task. The flush is powerful but fails to clean the sides. So, for making the sizable investment be prepared to clean the bowl after every #2 use.

Great Toilet
For a chair height toilet with a low volume flush, the canister flush mechanism does an amazing job. We never have to flush twice. Our regular plumbers did a great installation with no problems. It is the only one-piece black toilet that we could find. We would buy it again.
