Shipping Problems
When the plumber removed the tub from the crate, the corner styrofoam protecters were so heavily glued to the tub that they could not be removed. It was a mess and even adhesive removers would not work. We are not able to remove styrofoam remnants or the glue.

I'm 5'4" and this tub is too small!
I was torn between the devonshire, which my MIL has at her home, and this tub. I chose this tub because it fit my very tiny 1950s house better than the 2" wider devonshire, and I regret it with every fiber of my being. This tub may be 60x30 on the outside, but the inside is much, much smaller. I'm constantly bumping my elbows on the sides or having to fold my legs up in order to actually submerge myself, and I'm only 5'4"! I've never had this trouble fitting in a 5' tub before. I'm stuck with this tub in the one bathroom in my house. I regret buying it so much.

Several Cracks over First Two Years
The first crack happened within warranty, and rather than replacing the tub, Kohler recommended their approved repair person to seal it. We did that and were told it should not happen again. Here we are less than two years after install, and there are now SEVERAL cracks in the tub, the longest of which is approximately 5". We are not giant people that you would assume to be cracking the tub. So frustrating. And now I have a feeling nothing will be covered because we're past our warranty, but the initial time was not. I thought Kohler quality was supposed to be so fantastic. Highly disappointed.

buyer beware
we purchased this tub when remodeling our guest bathroom. My son was taking a bath and it cracked just from him sitting in the tub. This resulted in water everywhere including adjoining rooms. Buy a bathtub that can actually handle being used.

Horrible design
We bought this tub as a replacement during our recent renovation. It looked quite nice in website pictures and even after installation. It was not until the first time I used it was that I noticed that the top of the tub is angled all the way around so that you can't set anything on it without it falling into the tub! It is the most ridiculous thing I have ever seen and have no idea what the designer was thinking. Apparently they don't take baths! I have guests at the house now and embarrassed to explain the tub flaw. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to have it removed after the entire installation was completed. I would appreciate any comments from Kohler on this issue.

Beautiful, clean, and solid. Overpriced.
We bought it for the shape, appearance, and build quality. The surface isn't going to hold up any better than any other acrylic tub, in my opinion. Unfortunately, you are forced into using the overpriced drain assembly - which is solid and durable but the pop-up drain is known to fail early.
