New battery doesn’t work with Kobalt Chainsaw
I have a Kobalt chainsaw that uses the 80 volt battery. I wanted a second battery this purchased the 80 volt 2.5 amp upgraded battery. The original is an 80 volt 2.0 amp and works great. I have now tried two new batteries with the same results. After charging, I installed the new battery. After about four seconds of operation the chainsaw stopped working, started beeping and a warning light came on. I called Kobalt and the simply said it should work and if I’m not satisfied it can be returned for a full refund. I really wish one would work. The chainsaw is awesome but this is a real bummer.
