Excellent tool brand
A friend of mine has a lineup of Milwaukee and I have a lineup of Kobalt one day, he called me over to his garage for a drink as he was changing the brakes on his car he tried unscrew the wheel nuts with his Milwaukee not a chance and then I told him if I bring my Kobalt ratchet not the big Guy the smaller version it’s going to rip your wheel apart and honestly, I had no idea I was just joking with him and he was laughing. I jumped into my car as I only live couple minutes away and got the Impact Wrench with 4 Ah battery and put it to the test and it did unscrew his while nuts no problem then he looked at me and he was like I cannot believe this Kobalt did and was the the moment when I put him to shame and I was like well now you believe it my friend.
To that day I thought Kobalt is the bottom line of the tools but boy I was so wrong you can easily compare them with top competitors like Dewalt flex Makita Metabo let alone alone home depo brand Ryobi.
Since that day, I start watching some tool test comparison videos now I am 100% confident that Kobalt is proving to be an excellent excellent tool brand it's just so under rated and people don't know how good it is.
I have few Dewalt XR 20V drills and driver that I been using for number of years but I find Kobalt is more powerful quieter and nicer tool.
Now I am glad I own a whole lineup of this tool brand.
