Description
This Kobalt mitre saw has an innovative compact rail design that reduces the work space required for the operation of the saw. Includes: 60 tooth carbide tipped saw blade, blade wrench, dust bag, safety clamp, retractable die-cast aluminum extensions, and manual. Powerful 15.0 Amp ball bearing motor delivers 4,450 RPM for molding and framing cuts. Tall sliding fences support nested crown molding up to 5 3/4-in and baseboard up to 4 1/2-in against the fence. Dual slide rail system with linear bearings allow for smooth and accurate operation. Miter cuts up to 55° left and 60° right with 10 positive stops are most used angles. Upfront bevel lock handle for accurate, convenient bevel angle adjustments. Maximum crosscut up to 2-in x 12-in (nominal) at 90° and 2-in x 8-in at 45°. Tool-less adjustable upfront mounted laser guide system projects accurate pre-cutting line for precise alignment. 3-year limited warranty.

À éviter...
J'ai acheté cette scie et l'ai retourné après environ 20 coupes, cette scie là ne mérite tout simplement pas d'exister. Le seul fait de la transporter par sa poignée en fait changer les angles, elle n'est vraiment pas bâti solide, impossible de couper un contreplaqué de 3/4 de pouce et obtenir une coupe droite, je ne parle pas d'angle ici, juste d'obtenir une coupe droite et ce même avec une lame Dewalt 80 dents, je suis menuisier à la retraite et j'en ai possédé plusieurs scie à onglet.

Laser marks a different position each time the blade turns - garbage. Bevel guides are not straight and can't be straightened. Taking it back.

Burning and smoking material
I bought this and after using it for about 1 week, it kept burning and smoking the material. I tried to adjust the blade, but regardless it keeps burning and smoking whatever i cut. Was only used to cuts 2x4 peices several times. The laser just doesnt line up with the cut no matter how you adjust it. Dealing with Rona customer service was a hassle on top. Wouldn't return or exchange after 30 days even though the product was defective. Overall waste of time and money. spend a little more for a more reliable brand.
