Description
Every KitchenAid® disposer is equipped with a motor that rotates at 1725 RPM for effective grinding. In addition, it features overload protection with a manual reset, a batch feed allowing effective handling of large quantities. The design adds a measure of safety since it comports a cover that must be locked in place before the disposer operates. The MultiGrind Plus Technology features a three-stage grinding that makes this disposer an ideal solution for stringy foods such as corn husks and celery. A sensor helps break through tough jams before a problem occurs. Its SoundSeal Plus Technology makes these disposers exceptionally quiet even when grinding hard or stringy foods. The technology helps reduce noise levels by up to 60% compared to other standard disposers. This product is backed by a 30-day warranty.

New Design
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) Had my old Kitchen Aid for 21 years. Love the design of the new stopper. So easy to clean and works much faster than the old one. Nice that the actual garburator is smaller than the old one giving me more room under my kitchen sink.

Great addition
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] With cities reducing the limits of garbage that we can put out at the curb, this disposal really helps meet the city's limits. It will be great in the summer time. It was fairly easy to install myself. It took about three hours. Not bad.
