Downdraft.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my stove. So happy to get dualfuel. It's only been installed for a month but really enjoying it. My old stove, different brand, was 42 years old.

Great appliance but be aware of installation needs
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had this stove/oven installed last month and it works and looks great. Very happy with the appliance so far. However as some other reviews say just be aware that the installation process is more involved than with others that are not the downdraft style. I replaced a Jenn Air range that was roughly 20-25 years old and had to hire a contractor, electrician and plumber as all connections needed to be updated.

Has pros & cons
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my second oven of this model I have purchased. I had it 20 years Pros I love the design. Large glass opening in oven, middle rack glides out. Seems very sturdy I love the griddle! . Cons It takes a long time for oven to heat on higher temp. 20 plus minutes for 450. When use low on burner it cooks to high. It cooks a little too hot. My older stove simmered better & heated up much faster. It was still working. I was remodeling the kitchen and wanted the new granite to fit the new stove.

Drawbacks
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am not happy with my new stove. I find the placement of the controls dangerous. I can't touch the top of the stove without causing signals to go off. Flames are too high. The low setting still heats up too fast. In its favor it is easy to keep clean.

So far great range we love it
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had this duel fuel range installed approximately one month ago, that being said time will tell how well this product performs however so far so good, we love it the gas stove top burners work well, the downdraft vent system does pull the flame a bit towards the center but it’s not an issue as the stove top has heavy full cooking grates from side to side so just slide the pot or pan over a tiny bit, the electric oven is excellent also heats fast and evenly, love the easy slide shelf.

Excitement to Disappointment w/ Dual Feul Range
We received this stove about nine months ago so now I am able to review this product. Unfortunately, I am disappointed with the Dual Fuel Downdraft front control range. The stainless look makes this stove look great. I do like the instant heat from the gas stovetop. That took a bit to get used to. However, using the downdraft is very noisy, even on low fan. The downdraft also pulls the flame to the center of stovetop which no longer makes even heat to cook. The knobs are almost too easy to operate. I have leaned slightly on the knob, reaching for something in the cupboard and the gas pilot starts to click to ignite the burner. The oven needed to be calibrated when I realized it wasn't baking properly. I was able to get it to the correct temperature. There are many options for the oven, but I've only used a couple. I don't bake bread, so the "Proof" is useless to me. The oven does take a long time to preheat- 15 to 20 minutes to get to 350 degrees, longer for higher temps. The electric range is fine for cooking/baking. Once turned off, the cool down period with a fan is very long-maybe 1/2 hour. So once again it is noisy.
I have cleaned it three times now. The first was one time on its own. The cleaning cycle is only 40 minutes long (?) and doesn't seem very hot. Upon being finished, I can't say it really cleaned the stove very well at all. I followed the instructions and this really lacks a good cleaning. Four months later, I cleaned it again, this time twice in a row. It just doesn't get the range clean. The inside glass door cannot be cleaned to look new. Again, I wiped down the door first before cleaning the appliance.
If you are considering getting a dual fuel downdraft Range, think about what you will be using the appliance for. Kitchenaid has a great name, but not in the case of this 4-Burner Dual Fuel Downdraft Front Control Range.

Good Range for the price
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had to wait 20 years before I could get another gas range and always loved them. We only had two make/model choices for the place it needed to go and we picked this one because the knobs were not on the top and would be easier to stay clean. I wish the burners were set up differently because I am short and the two large ones are at the front and I have trouble reaching the smaller back ones. That is my greatest issue. The oven is off 25 degrees at 300 but right on the mark at 450. I love the three racks and the ease in which they slide out.
