Description
This KitchenAid(R) retractable range hood offers you a modern and professional look for your kitchen. The 65,000 BTU threshold means that this appliance is compatible with most 30" or 36" cooktops from the same brand. Its retractable design makes it easy to clean since it gives you direct access to the grease collector. At full extension, it can reach a height of 14", which enhances overall capture above the cooktop, especially when using tall cookware. Multiple installation options are available: the motor box can be installed on either side of the exhaust port and frees up space under the cooktop. Lastly, this 4-speed range hood is equipped with intuitive controls and includes a dishwasher-safe, premium mesh filter. Backed by a 1-year limited warranty on parts and labour.

Relativement efficace.

Pas de problèmes de fonctionnement après un mois. Facile à nettoyer. Demande un certain degré d'habileté pour l'installation et les connecteurs fournis ne m'ont pas été utile.

Expensive and not very useful
This isn't worth the money. It was my only option to vent my cooktop but it doesn't pull the steam so it just rises and fogs the window.

Trust in KA Quality Restored

New and Improved!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The motor in the Old downdraft ventilation system failed which necessitated the replacement unit since the mtor for the old unit was no longer produced/avalable. New unit fit into dimensions of the countertop exactly Motor and fan unit was a little larger than the old unit, which took a little more space in the cabinet. However, the unit sticks up a little taller when activated and the fan is much stronger, so the end result is very positive!!

Retractable Vent
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The vent is not made as well as one would expect from KitchenAid. The plastic button to retract and raise the vent is cheap and gets stuck. Very flimsy. Causing the vent to go up and down until you straighten out the button.

Pop up button needs improvement.
