HATE this thing!
This refrigerator is HORRIBLE. The previous homeowners designed our kitchen so that the only refrigerator that fits is a 42” counter depth. For this INSANE price, you get a fridge that barely holds a week’s worth of groceries for a family of 4. Forget fitting in large casserole dishes or tall bottles. The shelves are SO shallow. There isn’t even a water dispenser! And when we purchased it, the sales guy actually told us we’d be lucky to get 10 years out of it!

Nice over priced refrigerator.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m very satisfied at this point with the overall performance and how well it stores and keeps food’s fresh. Much better than my previous kitchen aid refrigerator. Three items I would like to see differently. 1) the right food bins are unable to open with the left door closed. 2) no filtered water was refrigerator was available to purchase. Need to continue to filter my own water and use space int refrigerator to store it. 3) the price was extremely unreasonable for other refrigerators on the market.

Poorly Designed
I bought this recently, and not a day since install have I liked anything about it. Initially thinking a lowered freezer drawer design wouldn't work for us, but without any other KitchenAid 24.2 Built-In options, I had no other choice. Poorly designed, split refrigerator shelves causing items to fall between, limiting shelf space; loud suction thumping sound when either of the doors or drawer closes; for fear of spilling, in drawer, no place to safely stand a filled glass to chill. Never anticipated being this dissatisfied after spending so much money! If only there were other styles in this size for the choosing, believe me, this one would already be on the express "return" route.

Terrible, don't buy
We have had this refrigerator for just over two years. The latest issue is the lights stopped working. Other issues we have had include multiple hinges breaking on both doors, doors that won't stay shut, and multiple issues with the ice maker. On our last repair call we were told we must close the left door first and then the right door but when we close the right door the left door opens slightly.

The door slams violently if you let go of it when it is open. The left door requires an extra push to close it all the way

Beautiful refrigerator, but not perfect
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Our new refrigerator was delivered about two weeks ago. It is beautiful, however there are a couple design features that have already required tech visits. The first issue is that the door on the right side of the refrigerator doesn't stay open on its own. We had the installers come out to make sure the refrigerator is level, and we were told that because our pantry door is next to the refrigerator that we must open the pantry door in order for the right refrigerator door to stay open. We don't have this issue with the left side door. We also requested a visit from a KitchenAid tech to look at the second issue we had with the ice storage drawer. We were experiencing an issue with the drawer not sliding back into place unless we reached behind the drawer and lifted the plastic piece that moves up and down. The tech removed the drawer and confirmed it was not broken, and so far, it has not presented the same issue again. The tech told us not to force the drawer closed and if needed, we should reach in and lift the plastic arm to slide the drawer back into place. While both of these issues now have workable solutions, it shouldn't be necessary to take these steps with a brand-new, very expensive refrigerator. Overall, we are pleased with our new refrigerator, despite the two issues mentioned previously.

can't see in fridge from
DO NOT BUY
This has been a lemon since the day the refrigerator was installed. We have had to have it serviced multiple times when it was in warranty. Within months the lights went out and if one goes out the entire chain of lights go out. This has been a recurrent problem. We now can't see in our fridge because they continued to burn out, even though they are LED and supposed to last for an eternity. I contacted the manufacture as well as the store where we purchased the refrigerator and they did not care nor want to help us despite the price tag! Please note all the 5 star reviews are "INCENTIVIZED REVIEW." That is not by coincidence!! Buyer beware!
