Description
This KitchenAid dishwasher with PrintShield(MC) finish and large flatware capacity features an advanced clean water wash system, flawlessly cleaning your dishes with each use. It uses microfiltration to continuously remove food particles during wash and rinse cycles. The FreeFlex(TM) third-level rack with double rotating jets can accommodate and clean 6" glasses, cups, prep bowls and baking tools. Two wash tubes with rotating jets reach every angle and ensure that every item in the rack is thoroughly clean. The washing option on the two upper baskets only means that you don't have to wait for a full load to clean a few items. An LED lighting system illuminates each side of the third-level rack for easy loading and unloading. ProDry(TM) optimized drying system uses a heating element and a fan that circulates hot air around dishes after wash and rinse cycles. Stainless steel model with pocket handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a complimentary gift in exchange for my review, Influenster and KitchenAide sent me a KitchenAid 44 dBA Dishwasher with FreeFlex Third Rack and LED Interior Lighting. This is the best of the best for as dishwashers. From the craftsmanship to the functionability. It's very quiet and I mean it's not noisy at all. I had to check to see if it was actually washing because I couldn't hear it. It has three racks and quite roomy. The top rack has enough room where you can put cups, glasses, etc. at an angle. Then, you have the second and third racks where your large dishes can go. It's a lot of room especially for those of us that have a large family. I absolutely love the LED interior lighting; that was a great idea to put a light inside of a dishwasher! The delayed timer is great. Therefore, you can load dishes all day and have it set to start at night. Let's talk about it's cleaning action!
This dishwasher cleans superbly and it doesn't matter the grim it's getting clean. You don't have to prewash either. My dishes be spotless and with the Pro Dry System your dishes are actually dry. The informational display lets you know when the cycle is over and it will display clean, which is also a nice feature. Overall, this dishwasher is flawless and I love it!

great until you get the E1 F9 problem
Had this unit since Dec 2021 (it was the only dishwasher in stock back then). Overall, it was a reliable, quiet dishwasher; only used it ~3 days a week, and no major washings, except for holidays. But after 2.5 years, this past month it finally had issues [during wash cycle], specifically the E1 F9 alerts; had to reboot the machine to try to drain the water; sometimes it drained, sometimes not. Fortunately, I have a shopvac as backup. Note that this error happened sporadically, but after two weeks, I called our plumbers and was told I need new parts: control board, drain pump, and, because I had a slight leak (drip) in lower left corner of door assembly, a new gasket seal. Cheaper than buying a new unit, so I'm getting it serviced. Note that I've always used premium detergent (Cascade Platinum gel), but from what I've read online, several owners have reported this problem, all after 2 years of use, which apparently is the MTTF. Advise anyone considering purchasing this device to take that into consideration when choosing this model. Fwiw, I'm going to use Affresh to help minimize any possible lime/calcium buildup, although I doubt this caused problem(s).

Help,Can't effectively dry dishes!!!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Can't effectively dry dishes.Tried watching videos to program dry cycle but it is more confusing and difficult than it should be.I think Kitchenaid over engineered this function making it to confusing for the average consumer.I have had 2 dishwashers in the past and never had a problem with choosing a drying cycle....Keep it simple,less is more in this situation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product from KitchenAid and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. The installation process was seamless. The product came as described, and the delivery company installed this beauty and hauled away my other dishwasher. This is the best performing dishwasher I have ever seen function! There are several cleaning modes so no matter how big the mess, it’ll be taken care of. I have yet to see a dish come out with any remaining residue or food. Also, the dishes come out perfectly dry! No water spillover for me anymore! There are three different tiered racks so it makes organizing your dishes and silverware a breeze. Also the racks are adjustable! I’m able to fit about a half load more of dishes with this dishwasher than my previous competitor’s dishwasher. There are also LED lights so when opened you’re able to see all of your dishes and utensils with ease. This dishwasher is incredible sleek and sexy in appearance and completes the overall look of my kitchen. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who wants an effective, quiet, versatile, and incredibly sleek upgrade to their current kitchen.
