Description
Premium unsanded acrylic caulk by Mapei. This interior caulk is easy to use, easy to clean and formulated to match all of Mapei's grout colours and textures. It is washable, paintable and mildew resistant. Ideal to fill voids up to 6 mm (1/4 '') and redo the joints cracked or faded grout. Also serves as a sealant around sinks, tubs, showers, countertops and ceramic tiles. Let dry at least 4 to 6 hours before painting and protect from water exposure until fully cured for at least 72 hours. This sealant comes in a 311 mL gun's cartridge for easy application and it is VOC compliant.

Perfect Colour Match, Easy to Apply- But it shrank
Bought this a couple months ago to use at the three (3) thresholds in the room where I had installed tile and used the Navajo Brown tile grout. Perfect colour match with the grout and was easily applied, noting that the space to fill between the tile and threshold pieces were the the same as the grout (3/16"). Wanted to use a flexible, colour-matched product, that could withstand any expansion or contraction of the aluminum threshold pieces. Used painters tape to keep clean lines and the caulking was easy to use, filled the space completely and generally applied nicely. However, when the product dried, the caulking shrank and left cracks along all 3 of the thresholds. Have had to buy a second tube and will reapply when it arrives (an online order). Hopefully that will resolve the original shrinkage issue and suffice ...
