Best kind of simple inexpensive rod you can get. The 3” projection covered my roller shade perfectly and I just put a valence type of curtain on it to hide the shade and decorate the bedroom window. 2” projection rods are everywhere but I needed the 3” projection, so glad I found it here.

Beauty in Simplicity
I shopped all different types of rods for hanging curtains to cover a closet. I finally opted for this simple rod and I am so glad that I did because it also covers the sides so I don't have curtains hanging with a 3'' gap between them and the wall. With curtains on you don't see this rod at all. The rod seems very solid.
