what size is the planter opening where the flowers go?
It is very sm maybe 9 in across- that is why I returned them- but they are nice looking- I just like to drop hanging baskets in them and too small for that

Well proportioned but needs ballast
We bought three of these a few years ago. They've held up extremely well, even being exposed to cold Winnipeg winters. My one bit of advise is that they are top heavy because the planter insert is only about one-third the depth of the whole planter. So to keep them from constantly falling over in the wind (especially if you plant something tall in them) you will need to put some kind of ballast in the bottom. A plastic bag filled with water works great. Otherwise, they elevate your plants nicely to just below table height.
