Description
The Jorgensen cabinet master bar clamps are ideal for flat panel, box, cabinet, frame and panel doors assemblies or any other project that requires squareness or evenly applied pressure. Large plastic jaws assure the distribution of clamping pressure over large areas. The jaws stay parallel to assure squareness and prevent work pieces from bowing or lifting. Built in clamp stand allows clamps to stand upright for one handed use and easier/quicker sliding head adjustment. The sliding head can be reversed on the bar and the clamp then acts as a spreader. Clamping faces are 3-3/4 In. height and 1-7/8 In. width, high-carbon steel bar is 1-3/16 In. x 3/8 In., screw is 5/8 In. Limit is 1,500 lbs.

Love the new grips.
I'm a cabinet and furniture maker, and I have to say, these clamps are the best. I'm slowly converting my shop over to using these clamps, and have to say, there is nothing that comes close to these.
Make a small investment, and buy one, you'll see what I'm talking about.

No good
Quality has gone waaaay down. They claim these clamp 90* but with even the slightest amount of tension and the top head of the clamp deflects significantly, the pins break and the handles quickly begin to spin on the threaded rod. I used to depend on these clamps but now they’re barely useful.

First time user and wow!
I have recently retired and decided to start woodworking again from scratch mostly because my grandson has been coming over quite a bit and wanting to make a table for his mom. He has always hung around the shop with me helping to make things but now I find I need to retool and update most of my equipment. I decided to try the Jorgensen clamps and they are fantastic. Great quality and value. I hope to get some more for for my larger projects and for my new business.

Hard to tighten, falls apart
I found it hard to tighten my 60" clamp and the metal locking pieced fell out when I took the head off to turn around and use as a spreader.

Broke down
I was putting some red oak boards with biscuits in them and as I was tightening one of my 4 clamps it broke the locking piece of metal

Great bar clamp
I received a pair of these clamps as a Birthday gift from my son. The parallel clamps are great for clamping cabinet boxes and furniture projects. I can always know that these clamps will hold and apply pressure squarely where I want it.
