Great blower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My dad has one and it’s been a great blower. Only thing I don’t like is the choke on it I think they could make it automatic. Other than that it’s great!

I give up on Husqvarna

Many old chainsaws that were the best.
Now to this 525BX blower. This so called pro level blower has been the biggest peice of crap I have ever owened from Husqy. Next to the two throw away 550XP saws this thing makes me wish I had never bought it. Purchased it with their 3 cans of fuel deal and it ran good for a month or so. Now it fires and idles fine but if you even touch the throttle it dies. Never had anything but their brand fuel run in it.If I let it idle 4 or 5 minutes and then pull the choke on and off instantly it goes int high idle and sometimes I can milk the throttle and get it to full throttle to blow off the porch.Total let down

It blows
I decided to buy this after using the BG86 from a major competitor for several years. The Husqvarna 525BX appealed to me being a newer model with some good features such as the anti vibe system. It's a smooth runner. It starts easily and has a nice exhaust tone, not necessarily quieter, but a more appealing sound than the BG86. Power seems similar and the "return to run" kill switch is a nice feature.

Tested at -22C feels like -36C to blow the snow
After three days of freeze where temperature touched -44C, today I assembled my unit and start removing the snow from my front & backcourts as the temperature came a bit down at -22C. I was confused about whether to buy a backpack unit or a handheld and decided to take the risk with a handheld unit. It took me 5mins to assemble and start the job. Within 15 mins I cleared mine and two of my neighbor's courts. The unit is powerful, easy to handle, lightweight, and extremely less noisy. I bought a gallon of 1:50 2 stroke pre-mix fuel as well along the blower, so it extends my warranty up to 05 years, which is a great deal and confidence of the manufacturer on their machine. I must recommend the unit to buy as a robust, efficient, and ergonomic machine.

Easy start great power
I debate between brand German vs Sweden after comparing their biggest hand held to Husqvarna hands down more power means less walking back and forth I do wish the gutter attachment would fit

Great leaf blower for around the house
I bought this leaf blower for my yard and also for cleaning out gutters I've used it about 10 time's so far, starts easy ,runs great hasn't gave me any issues.

Won't stay running
Bought this a couple of months ago and have had problems with it the entire time. It won't stay running at idle and when it does, if I try to increase the throttle , it sound like it's choking itself. Took back in for warranty, the company I bought it from cleaned the carburator and adjusted it....still doing the same. The other morning I was trying to get it started and had to pull on it so much that the pull start broke. I bought one of those and a new carburator and just need to get those installed. Honestly, I'd like a full refund because this thi g is junk.

Decent leaf blower
I'm fairly pleased with the product and it generally performs well. One issue that I have had repeatedly is that the carburetor mixture is hard to get adjusted perfectly and the machine requires frequent tinkering. Biggest issue is that the machine bogs down when going from idle to full throttle. It's not an operational defect but it is annoying.
