Great fan and light but not very smart
It is a very nice fan and light. Still haven’t gotten it to connect to the Alexa app. Bought it because it is supposed to be a Smart Fan but so far that part is not working correctly. Counted on Hunter Fans as a quality brand.

Great fan but beware of the installation manual.
The fan is looks great. I wish that the LED had a tunable color temperature. 5,000K would help make this fan look much more modern compared to the 3,000K that the fan comes with. However, my biggest issue is with the installation manual. There is a major typo on pages 3 and 5. The instructions state to use the screws from the ≡ bag on the ceiling bracket and canopy. However, the screws in the ≡ bag are for the light kit only. Using the ≡ screws on the ceiling bracket and canopy could result in serious injury or death. The correct screws are in the ⚫ bag. For this reason, Hunter should consider pulling all Advocate models off store shelves so that the instruction manual can be updated.

So pleased with our purchase
It took a while for this fan to come back in stock, but I’m so glad we were patient. This is an excellent, excellent fan. It truly is whisper quiet, the light is perfectly bright enough for our bedroom, the fan has six speeds, and the Alexa integration is exactly what we were looking for. I don’t know what other reviewers are talking about re: the beeping. Perhaps they’ve fixed it or changed the default setting, but ours hasn’t beeped once. It takes a couple of seconds to do its self-balancing startup routine before the blades start turning, but it’s really not problematic. We paired it with a Hunter wall switch for full control at the wall. It looks great and modern, a much-needed upgrade to the old fashioned fan it replaced.

Feels really cheap for the price
I can’t believe how clunky and slowly it Responds to being turned on. The blades feel really cheap. The beep is crazy loud. I wish the color temperature of the light was changeable.
