Bonjour SUE1959* et merci pour votre demande. Lorsque vous utilisez une planche de bois 5/4, la distance maximale entre les poteaux est de 6 pieds. What size is the foot at base of rail?
Hi Stretch9 and thanks for reaching out. Our HOFT Anchor Plate measures 5 ¼’’ x 5 ¼’’ and its thickness is ¼’’. we recommend leaving a 1’’ space on either side of the Anchor Plate when installing on either wood or concrete, is to avoid tearing the wood or concrete that the Anchor Plate is screwed onto. Is it possible to install this type of fencing on a fairly sharp incline? E.g. by cutting the wood at an angle at both ends?
Hi Michael1 and thanks for reaching out. Yes, you can always cut your boards at an angle, and here is another option that might also be helpful. To keep all boards levelled when the surface on which you anchor is not, you need to level the boards using the rail block. The rail block is the first part that you slide in our post system. J'ai besoin de quelle épaisseur de planche? je regardais pour du 1X6X8 ou il faudrait du 2 pouce?

Merci de nous contacter! Vous devez acheter des planches 5/4 x 6'' x 8' ou 12' aussi appelé planches à patio. Vous retrouverez ce modèle dans le cèdre rouge ou dans le bois traité et les mesures exactes de cette planche seront de : 1'' x 5.4'' x 12' . N'oubliez pas que l'espace maximal permise entre les poteaux est de 6', donc pas possible de mettre une planche de 8' complète.

Est-il possible pour installation dans le gazon d’installer le Poteaux directement dans le ciment pour plus de solidité ?
Bonjour Pacocito, Merci de nous avoir contacté! Pour une installation au sol (sur gazon/terre) pour nos poteaux HOFT de 73 pouces, vous devrez creuser un trou dans le sol d'environ 3' de profondeur x 9'' de diamètre et verser du ciment dans le trou. Lissez la surface puis attendez qu'elle sèche au moins 48 heures. Installer le poteau sur la base de béton et fixer avec des boulons d'ancrage à béton (3/8'' x 3''1/2). Bonne journée

Quel est l'espace entre les planches installées avec les espaceurs? Est-ce possible d'ajuster l'espace? Merci!
Bonjour Jacky123. L'espace entre les planches est de 1/2 pouce. Par exemple, si vous cherchez à obtenir plus d'intimité une autre chose que vous pouvez faire est de mettre toutes les planches les unes sur les autres et de placer les espaceurs sur les 3-4 premières planches. Mettre les espaceurs sur les premières planches du dessus permet également au vent de passer et réduira la résistance au vent.

Bonjour, je regarde pour les poteaux noir aluminum pour faire une mur d'intimité est-ce qu'avec les poteaux ca comprend les séparer qu'on glisse en les planches?

Bonjour, Est on obligé de mettre les espaceurs avec du cèdre rouge ? J aimerai pas avoir de fente entre les planches.

Il est possible d'installer les planches sans espaceurs, mais nous conseillons d'au moins installer 3 espaceurs entre les 4 planches du haut puisque nos espaceurs servent aussi de clou pour solidifier l'assemblage.

Great System
The Hoft system is really functional and looks fantastic. While a little pricey, it is definitely worth it. I built a pricey fence using cedar wood, the posts, 2 planters, the shelf and a couple of hooks. It is really versatile in that you can addd the spacers then leave the upper closed, has corner posts and just assembles great.
