This has saved my life this year!
Our kids bought this for me and my husband this Christmas. My husband is too sick to use our full size snow blower and I have never learned to use it. Arranging for plowing got away from me this year and this shovel has saved my life. I am old, fat, and out of shape and can handle this fairly easily. I have no choice but to keep our driveway clear so a my husband can get to his appointments no matter what the weather is like. This has been a very difficult year for me, but this shovel has helped keep us safe.

Works well enough
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) I just bought this snow shovel to clear off backyard a patio. I've only used it 4 times, but pros and cons are pretty clear. First off, the unit is probably heavier than you will think. With the "shovel" end on the ground the weight is more balanced and easier to deal with. But constantly lifting the unit will quickly get tiring. Secondly, the unit LAUNCHES snow. It's billed as tossing snow 20-25' and it absolutely does this. If you have the space ... great. If you're in tighter quarters ... like most suburbs ... you really have to be aware about where the snow will land because it's easy to throw it over a backyard fence and into your neighbour's yard. I'm 6'2" so i can tip the unit more vertically to lower the angle, but that only works so much. I basically try to lower the discharge angle and "aim" the unit away from the neighbour's decks and patios. Finally, another review mentioned the "flimsy" handle. I snapped mine on the third use ... and I wasn't pushing hard against powdery snow. The handle turning on the shaft bothers me less than having to replace it after three uses. Having said all this, the unit is easy to use, so far battery life is good (charges quick, too), it's quiet, and it's very convenient (if I need to, I can walk it thru the house to get in the backyard).

Works well but heavy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This "shovel" came with the 80v snow blower package I purchased which I have left another review on. My review on this shovel is from using it this season.
I have used the shovel to get "trim" areas hard to get to with the blower (small walks and narrow areas) and have also used it to clear the entire driveway (3 car drive approx 25' long - standard city lot setback).
It works well on small areas, and is fine for removing entire drive if the snow is light (2-3 inches). It can be difficult to maneuver as it must be pointed in the direction you want the snow be thrown so working around walls, etc can be a challenge.
The main reason for the mediocre rating is weight. By the time I am finished with the work I am almost as tired as just using a regular shovel due to weight and weird maneuvering to keep the snow being thrown in the correct direction. Since this was essentially a free item in the kit it's worth keeping but I would not recommend purchasing one. I would rather but a light weight snow blower. I think it would be less strenuous and do a better job.

Snow Shovel W/2.0Ah battery
(This review was collected as part of a promotion.) It is very powerful, battery last long enough, it is in the heavy side if you want to use it like a real shovel, but it is fine if you let it sit on the ground. If you want to use it like a shovel you must relocate the handle further down to be more balanced. But you must find your self a way to fix that handle so it wont turn around the shaft while you are manipulating it. They should have tough of a better way for fix that handle to the shaft, it is very flimsy. I have found a way for the handle for not to move around, see pictures. I have giving 4 stars because of that flimsy handle.

Throws Snow too far.
I bought this at the start of the year for winter here in Toronto and at a glance it works great but the problem is that it launches the snow wildly too far. So much so that it becomes effectively impossible to use in a residential neighbourhood. When doing my driveway it launches snow onto my neighbor's driveway 15m away and given that there is no mechanism to control the direction or angle of the thrown snow it becomes a massive problem. My choice is either go back and forth on my driveway horizontally and launch all the snow into neighbouring driveways OR go up and down vertically and launch all the snow across the street onto the driveway of my neighbor across the road.
You can lift the handle more vertically to lower the angle of the snow but then the tool doesn't slide well and it becomes a nightmare to push.
As far as I can tell there isn't really a good way to use this without causing chaos.
I'd also add that, as a tall person (6'3"), the length of the shaft is too short. I have to be bent over the whole time while using it which my back doesn't appreciate at all.

I have 2 of batteries, and charger
Is just the shovel/ tool sold separately?
My 80 V trimmer is an outstanding addition to my landscaping tools, I can start early due to its low decibels.
I have used my friends snow shovel, and it exceeds the products description.

HEAVY
First time mom whose husband works out of town and we live in Edmonton. Husband bought it for me to try and make keeping up with the snow removal easier/faster for me since we have a newborn. Used it twice now and can confirm, it's easier just to shovel. There's NO WAY this thing is only 20lbs. My arm is literally shaking and I can't pickup my newborn for more than 10 seconds before I need to support my right arm. Husband might like it for heavier snowfalls but for general clearing of our sidewalk, it's a hard no from me.

Snow Shovel
I purchase the shovel early before the snow comes. I haven't used the shovel yet but once I did I'll be happy to post a reveiw regarding shovel and how the tool is working.
