String spools & feed useless
This machine does a great job except that I have to stop every five or six minutes to manually untangle string. The auto feed does not work and then I discovered that the schools are very poorly need. I spend more time untangling crossed wire that I do using the machine. My old Black & Decker top and gold was much more efficient to use as a result.
I cannot continue to use this device and will have to replace it with something other than a green works product. I am not slamming the brand, I have many green work stools and have quite like them but this trimmer has been a huge disappointment.

It works but my arm is dead.
The trimmer is powerful and works well but it needs to come with a harness. After using it for an hour, my arm is shot. Knowing how uncomfortable it is to use, I don’t really want to use it again. INCLUDE A HARNESS AND A HOLE TO CONNECT IT TO!

Fast shipping and I love the wheels for trimming!
I have a greenworks mower and dethatcher, so when I needed a trimmer we decided this would be the one. It works perfect and we're happy with our choice. My favorite feature is the wheels which help me trim perfect every time. We've been very happy with all our Greenworks items and the customer service is the best in the business if you need help.

Fine product but spool cover does not last long
This product was great for about a year then the spool covers wore down and now I can’t keep the spool and string in place. I did not have this issue with my previous Greenworks trimmer.

First use was very good. Extra 1.5 amps made a difference, but real review should be written after a year of my infrequent use. With 3 burnt out 4 amp trimmers going to a stronger model should increase lifetime usage. The device is heavier, but not too difficult to handle. The new, remodeled, plug is definitely an improvement.

I bought this a year ago and have been extremely satisfied. Good power for trimming and edging. The product is sturdy, which I questioned given the price, but was pleasantly surprised. I would most certainly purchase another one, but doubtful I will need to. Highly recommend.

Very dependable
I've had this for a couple of years now and I can tell you this trimmer does a really good job. It's relatively quiet and you get very used to the cord in a very short time. I just finished using it and I'm very pleased with it's power. I'm 70 years young and I have no problem holding this. It's just a tad heavy, but you take your finger off the start button, put it down for a second and then just keep on trimmin'! I have no problem recommending this to anyone and the handle is adjustable. I'm 5'7" and the adjustment I made was easy and very comfortable. You won't go wrong with this...and I have yet to change the string.
