Description
Keep your home protected from the elements with this GREAT STUFF insulating foam sealant. The product uses Smart Dispenser technology, which helps you direct the sealant where it needs to go. It fills spaces up to 3 in wide. Since this foam sealant adheres to wood, plastic, metal, masonry and glass, it works for gaps located throughout your home. By forming a firm seal once it hardens, the Great Stuff Big Gap Filler prevents cold air from entering and warm air from escaping your home. It also blocks pests, vermin and allergens. This drip-free product lasts for up to 30 days after its first use, which makes it suitable for jobs that may take a few weeks. The foam spray sealant is tack-free after fifteen minutes. Sand, stain or paint it to match its environment.

Minimal expansion
I bought 2 cans of this, and one of Touch N Foam to compare in case one was better. I expected quality, as the other product lines from Great Stuff have been good.
This stuff hardly expanded after being applied. The other brand, prepared the same way, expanded to about 3x diameter. I'd had good luck with other Great Stuff foams, but this one was very lackluster. The finished result is mostly just a hardened version of what left the can, and didn't seal the gap. I'll be passing on this one in the future. Even the fireblock expands more

Poor dispenser
The product may be fine, other Great Stuff products I have used were, but most of the foam came out where the plastic tube meets the trigger mechanism instead of the end of the tube. This made it impossible to get the foam where I needed it to go….basically a waste of tne entire can.

Waste of time and money
Expanding foam ought to expand. Expanding foam marketed for filling big gaps especially ought to expand. This can wheezed out a 1-cm shaggy stream of foam that expanded to barely an inch. I emptied the whole can and the overall volume was less than a quarter of what I was expecting g from having used other expanding foams. I wish I could remember what brand I’d used in the past so I wouldn’t have wasted my money on this one!

Not so great
The product keeps slowing down from fast flow to stopping and is very time consuming to wait for it to come out. It didn’t expand to 3x as rated so had to use several cans. Dissatisfied

Fulls gaps
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have an old house with lots of gaps that needed to be filled. This product did the trick. It's easy to use, but a bit messy. Make sure you are prepared for a sticky mess! Wear a glove and have disposable towels handy.

Good gap filler.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a while back and used it to fill several large gaps around doors and a few small holes in the walls. It takes a second or two to expand, but works great. Overfill is easy to chip or cut away but for larger holes, I'd recommend doing it in layers to allow for expansion and prevent most overfill. A good product.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Great Stuff Big gap filler is excellent for filling all kinds of gaps and cracks. It is very useful that it can be trimmed after filling in cracks or gaps if needed until it cures. Its also nice that it can be painted afterwards if you so choose.
