The bulb has a color rendering index (CRI) of 80 and have a lifespan of 50,000 hours for lasting use. The 4" recessed light is airtight certified, and it features quick connect for easy installation. The housing is made of metal with a white finish that blends in perfectly with any décor. This recessed is wet rated and can be installed in bathrooms, showers and outdoor soffits.

Perfect for my application
I had a problem where there was a large hole in my bathroom ceiling where I had removed a very old light fixture (1930s). No junction box, nothing. Just a 4" hole in the ceiling and a few wires. This kit retrofitted and replaced the old light with with incredible ease. Literally the hardest part of the DIY job was making the hole the correct size. Project took a total of 20 mins. Highly recommended.
