They are designed to snap easily into place onto Gladiator(R) GearTrack(R) channels without the need for tools. The dark grey colour provides a contrasting trim at each end of the channel, providing a finished and professional appearance. The Capstone to the Tracks
While I get why they don't included these in the bulk tracks, since they don't know how many ends you're going to need, I do wish they did. That being said, they give a nice clean finish to their product but you do need to give them some force to get them in.

End Caps Worth the Few Dollars
It took me a few minutes to figure out that I needed to press the end caps into their location. It is worth the extra few dollars to buy the end caps. They provide a nice, smooth finishing touch to the wall
