Description
This Super Cascade water heater from Giant® features the Ecopeak® technology and is equipped with (3) elements of various wattages. With its bottom water entry, it offers 10% more ready-to-use hot water. Compared to the traditional two-element water heater, the three-element water heater represents a lower demand distributed more evenly throughout the day. Its high-quality magnesium anode is 17% larger than Standard models and offers even greater protection against the corrosive effects of water. In addition, its GreenFoam® ecological foam insulation contains no HCFCs, CFCs nor VOCs. A complete drain hose with a 90° elbow, a fitting and the safety valve are provided. This product is fabricated in Canada and is backed by a 10-year limited warranty on tank perforation and a 5-year warranty on parts. To benefit from the warranty, the water heater must not be laid on its side during transportation.
Ecological Attributes

Quelle est la différence entre 172STPS-3F7M et 172EPS-3F8M ? Si j'ai 40Gl et que je souhaite passer à un plus grand, la valeur d'installation est-elle la même ?
What does it cost to install a hot water tank
Is this 60 imperial or US gallons?
Should all three elements be set at the same temperature?… someone suggested I set the bottom one a littllower than the middle one, and the middle one a little lower than the top one… Please explain the proper temperature settings for the three elements.

Neuf et il ne chauffe pas. Il n'a jamais chauffé. Il coule par dessous. Élément et thremostat changé. Le courant électrique passe partout. Mauvais achat. Très bon service chez Rona pour essayer de régler le problème Je devrai changer de modèle.

Excellent chauffe-eau
Très satisfait de mon achat. Eau très chaude et facile à remplacer. J'avais la même chose depuis 2005, il était grand temps de changer car la vieille commençait à couler. Par contre le remboursement Hydro ne se fait pas automatiquement si vous achetez en ligne et le Rona ou je l'ai acheté ne le donne pas automatiquement non plus de là le -1...À suivre pour le remboursement. Peut-être aller l'acheter directement en magasin si vous voulez le rabais rapidement...

Broken right out of the box
Obviously the quality control team are not doing their job. The safety valve was defective and spewed 20 gallons of water all over the basement. I switched my old Rheem to Giant to support local... Sadly it was the wrong choice... I will make sure they make this right.

Thought great features
I would not recommend this product. Purchased this water heater in December 2022, came dented in several places and too much of hassle to return. It constantly overheats and shuts down and have already had to reset it over 6 different times already.

Had one before and was happy with it.
Bought it this month to replace same. The old one was still functional, but the insurance did not approve one that was 13 years old, so a new one was in order. To my surprise, the new one was manufactured almost a year ago.

Poor quality
Since I bought it I had issue with fluctuating between hot and cold water. In 3 years it is almost not usable. I called the support and they will only cover any leakage. DON'T buy it.
