Ecological Attributes
The use of home composters produce natural fertilizers. By keeping green waste from landfill centres, you reduce the production of waste and the greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions associated with its decomposition. By avoiding the use of synthetic fertilizer, you reduce the use of non-renewable resources. This product contains 100% post-consumer recycled PP, which significantly reduces the use of virgin plasctic. The use of recycled materials allows for waste reclamation while limiting landfilling.

Peu résistant
Voilà moins d’un an que nous avons ce bac à compost: il s’agit d’un désastre. Il était déjà bancal juste après son montage, mais voilà que 9 mois plus tard le plastique casse. Il est littéralement en train de se désintégrer. Bref, investissez dans quelque chose de meilleur.

Hyper décevant
Aussi solide qu'un château de carte. Une semaine après l'avoir assemblé, une mouffette avait déjà compris que peu d'effort la mènerait loin. Elle n'a eu qu'à pousser dessus pour qu'il s'éventre. Ça fait maintenant un an que nous ne compostons plus parce qu'il s'agissait du seul modèle disponible dans notre région. Maintenant, il repose en paix à l'Écocentre.

Thin Flimsy Plastic
I bought this in July 2019 to replace my older heavy duty composter that was damaged by a very large tree the fell on it. This composter is a complete waste of $85 (tax in)! Within one month the whole thing was leaning to one side. The thin plastic makes it very unstable when filled with compost and the lid and hinges are not reliable. It will be interesting to see how it survives freezing temperatures. Save your money, look elsewhere.
