Description
Tackle the tough stains and large loads with this top-loading GE high-efficiency and ENERGY STAR® certified washer. This generously sized 5.2 cu. ft. washer features 14 wash cycles, Precise Fill automatic load sensing, and a SaniFresh cycle for cleaner clothes. The soft closing lid on this machine eliminates accidental slamming. Stainless steel tub resists rust and won't chip for long-lasting durability, while preventing clothes from peeling or snagging. Speed wash cycle provides a quick cleaning process for smaller loads, and SaniFresh cycle uses a very high temperature water and a longer wash cycle to kill bacteria. Pump purge and extended rinse then removes remaining contaminants. Stain pretreat option helps eliminate tough stains such as tomato, wine, blood, grass and dirt with preprogrammed settings that modify your cycle. Deep rinse option ensures perfectly clean clothes by eliminating soap residue and fabric softener. Finally, My Cycle option lets you program your own cycle, simply press and hold for three seconds and your cycle will be saved.

What a waste of money. The washing machine does a poor job of washing the clothes. It is too loud. The spinning sensor broke. I got it fixed and about 6 months later the sensor went again. I can’t believe GE stands behind this product.

Lots of problems.
I did not buy this washer from Rona, but i have the same one and it stopped spinning and I was told by a repairman that it isn't even worth fixing it will cost so much. And of course the warranty has passed by now. We also had to have it fixed when it was still under warranty.

It’s okay, can’t choose different wash temp and rinse, have to be the same. Fabric softener dispenser doesn’t work very good.

Waste of Money- limited life
I bought washer GTW680BMMWS November 23, 2020. I noticed around September 2023 some leakage, I didn't believe the washer was leaking water because in my mind this is still a relatively new washer. By November 12, 2023 the washer would not go to the rinse cycle, it would just stop, the water wouldn't drain. I called to have the washer serviced and was told they have to replace all the parts. November 29, and I have not had use of a washer since November 12. I am not sure when the parts will arrive to fix it. Had I had this washer for 5 years I would have purchased a new one. Please note, I cannot say the washer perhaps stop working because of overuse, I have 4 people in my household, we DO NOT WASH EVERYDAY. My mom a senior, clothes are washed once a month, my daughter and I clothes are washed every two weeks, and my husband clothes are washed once a week. It is unacceptable for washers to have issues within the first 5 years of use. Manufactures and company's should be held accountable for making these useless appliances. Manufactures should be liable for their product and if they cannot guarantee a minimum 5 years without issue, the consumer should be refunded their money are the appliance replaced. I am very disappointed with this product, this manufacture and the service. Why not replace the washer?

No good washer
I don't like this washer at all. It simply doesn't wash well. My clothes remain full of pet hairs. Jeans are not cleaned thoroughly. Liquid softener is completely eliminated , so much that I have to add a paper softener in the dryer. Clothes do not smell the soap I used. I do not recommend this washer.
