Halogen PAR30 (3-3 with 4-inch diameter) Long Neck Indoor Floodlight bulbs are rated to last 1 year based on 3 hours per day use. Use these halogen PAR30 long neck bulbs with medium bases in indoor track lighting, can lights and recessed lighting.

Old halogen bulbs still available
Twenty years ago I renovated my place and put dozens of these lights on dimmer controls. Recently trying to buy these bulbs was difficult since every store said these bulbs were discontinued. Luckily Rona still has some bulbs. In the future I will have to renovate again, switch to led bulbs and change all my old dimmer switches to newer switches because the new led bulbs don't work with old halogen dimmer switches. Until then I bought 12 boxes of these old bulbs while they still exist.
