Description

Designed for use with GE French-door refrigerators, the water filter is designed to remove pharmaceuticals including ibuprofen, progesterone, atenolol, trimethoprim, and fluoxetine. It also filters contaminants such as chlorine-resistant cysts, lead, mercury, asbestos, and select pesticides and chemicals. The fridge water filter is easy to install with no tools or water shut off required. For best results, change your filter every six months.

Calcium Magnesium an Issue
This filter does not filter out the Calcium Magnesium that is in the water where I live. My old Amana fridge filter did. It was alot cheaper too!

Further details needed
Product was very good once i figured out I had to use a knife to fully turn the insert area way to the right to insert the new filter. Took me half an hour. You should explain this in your instructions!
