Buyer Beware, product fails quickly.
Buyer beware! I got two hoping for stereo sound.
3 months later...... No lights. No white light, No colour lights on one of the bulbs. Only the confirmation pulse works for some reason.
Tried to factory reset....Got a white confirmation pulse....but still no light control. No RBG, No white light. Will Not pair with the other GE LED lights.....it's either no joy on lights but sound works on just that bulb, or, use the other light which will not pair for some reason.
So no Stereo sound. Only one light will make noise at a time. No Lights on one of them.
No easy, or obvious way to open light to service. Used it in party mode ONCE for 15 min....Then the lights fried.

Completely blown away by this light
When I got this I thought that because of its little speaker, the sound quality would be about the same as a chromebook's, but I was blown away by how good the speaker quality was as well as volume. The lights make it a great party light, I just wish that the color settings were a little brighter. I noticed other reviews saying that when they turn on the light, it would say "Pairing" at a very high volume, however it seems like they removed that, because when I turn it on it flashes twice to signal that it is in pairing mode. It is a noticeably larger ad heavier light bulb, so keep that in mind if you have a small lamp. There is a feature where you can dim the light with the controller even in a non-dimmable lamp, you could even turn the light off and keep the speaker on. Make sure you press the Bluetooth button on the controller if you are not going to pair the light, otherwise it will flash every 10 or so seconds prompting for you to pair. Well worth my 40 dollars!

It seemed so promising….
It’s a great bulb, with great features…until it’s not. The speaker part of my bulb started randomly dimming sound to where you could barely hear anything. Eventually it would revert to normal sound, but you can’t know when and it ruins your entire listening experience. So, the quality of the speaker components must not be all that good. The light feature works great-and having a remote is nice. Just wish the speaker part could be depended on to work.

Truthfully Amazing
I bought this today! I had to get on here and talk about it. ALL my home consist of is GE, lightbulbs, light strips, panels, refrigerator, deep freezer, oven, washer/dryer EVERYTHING! Just to brag on them a little bit they definitely built a world that works. I digress. So of course why not try the speaker lightbulb. EASY setup, take out box twist in bulb turn light on connect device. My only critique would be the volume is a little low but that may also be according to preference ideally everyone could play their own music in a different room and not disturb someone else at this volume. But you can avoid that by pairing the bulbs. Overall I’m head over heels
