Good Idea BUT
These bulbs are great for lights that you leave on day and night. When the light is turned off with the switch these come on. The technology exists to prevent that, but these bulbs don't have it.

AMAZING PRODUCT!
AMAZING PRODUCT! When the power went off due to a terrible thunderstorm I had a bulb in each room of the house and they lasted about 4 hours and they started going dead. At least I had piece of mind when the lights went out!

New Battery Backup Lights (New to Me)
I bought a 3 box of the flood light 65watt and I bought and a box of 5 traditional 60watt. So, I installed them and the light is phenomenal, great light. When I turn the wall switch to off the bulbs stay on? I am not sure what I am not doing correctly with these new battery back up bulbs. I am missing something? When I turn off the wall light switch shouldn't the light go off rather than staying on? Does anyone else have this issue with wall light switch?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though it says soft white it is as bright as we need it. This GE LED + battery backup soft white bulb has been great. It’s easy to install and brighter then I thought it would be. I like the battery back up option as I’m out of town town a lot and this feature allows me to not worry.

Nice standard blub with a nice emergency light
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was able to quickly replace my old bub in my living room lamp. The backup battery seems to charge just from being plugged in while the power is running. The backup light level is about half the full plugged in strength but is easy to access.

Awesome features!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GE - GE LED+ Battery Backup Soft White 60W Replacement LED Light Bulb General Purpose A21 is the best light bulb of all time since it has a battery backup for when the power goes out. You can keep it in the light fixture, carry it with you or place it wherever you need to and have light anytime. It’s a 60 watt bulb and looks like any ordinary lightbulb and it fits in any standard size light fixture. I’m really impressed with this product and would highly recommend it. It works perfectly and is a great value and top quality product.
