Dont waste your money!
We purchased this, along with the full matching set, for our home and for our rental unit. One day I closed the door and the whole thing just died. Replaced the fuse, but then it instantly when again when closing the door. The a few weeks later, our rental one broke, same thing. Pieces of crap, do not waste your money. GE clearly does not care about this issue either as everywhere that I have read reviews they say the same thing. It should have been recalled by now. Bad business.

Another microwave door blowing the fuse issue
Out of nowhere and after a couple of years of use, the fuse blows every time we open the door. By the reviews it seems to be a common problem- very annoying.

Don’t buy!!!
Garbage, same as everyone the fuse has blown. Looks like it’s the door sensor. GE, if you know this product sucks…..why on earth are you selling it to people. I thought you were a good company? That’s heart breaking. Sounds like we did better then most, we managed 3 years.

Nothing good
Wouldn’t recommend, bought in September 2020, and has now stopped working, open the door and power went out. Seem like a fuse.

Only good thing about these appliances is the colo
Well, we bought the complete package. Microwave, stove, frig and dishwasher in slate 5 yrs ago. The fridge keeps freezing our food. Have had service out several times and replaced the fan for the fridge first, the evaporator panel then the moisture kit. Then in the freezer the thermostat defrost and the heater. Now the microwave has blown a fuse. Initially the oven didn't work. They replaced that. I think GE should stick to manufacturing light bulbs!

Very disappointed! Barely made it 2 years
After only 2 years of use I closed the door and the unit blew fuse. I used it daily for warming kids food or coffee. Very disappointed and not sure I would recommend or buy a GE product again

We’ve had this microwave since December 2014 and today (December 2, 2022) it finally gave up the ghost. My wife placed a cup of tea to warm up for 15 seconds, and with much fanfare (blinking lights) the microwave died. Hours later it sprang back to life so we tried again by placing a cup of tea to warm up and boom - the oven died a second death. Could it be because I failed to clean the charcoal filter and the two grease filter pans? That could very well be the rerason.
