Premature break at glue joint
The belt joint broke too early. To prevent it from overheating, I sanded the wood deck intermittently. Still, the belt broke after less than 1 hour's continued use. I'd try a different brand.

No as durable as I expected
A few belts broke at the seal in less than 1 hr of use. I guess it is the heat from the friction that melted the glue. I tried sanding and resting intermittently, but still the belts broke much earlier than I hoped
