These seats are already high, so you can't add a cushion to sit on unless you're not using them with a table. But, there's enough space to add a back cushion without feeling crowded.

Once we finished assembling the first chair, the other three were much quicker to put together. These chairs are lighter than we thought they would be, but still very strong and sturdy.
