Grading Topsoil is ideal for new sod installations. A sandy soil best used for lawn grading and hole filling. This product is not suitable for gardens or flower beds. Seasonality and weather may impact delivery timing and availability by region in March and April.

Hello Paulie Walnuts - Our grading topsoil can be used for over-seeding, but it does not have as much organic matter as our Premium Garden Soil and Enriched Premium Garden Soil have.

Mostly clay in bottom half of bag. Ruined my lawn. LOWES - FIRE YOUR SUPPLIER.

Somewhat disappointed
I thought I was buying top soil. It contained a lot of small stones and pebbles. The picture and description on Lowe's website didn't say what it was. Somewhat disappointed.

GARBAGE SOIL - Do Not Buy
Bought this product a couple weeks ago to spread on top of our grass, between tree roots and fill in a construction hole. Generally to increase the flatness and safety of our lawn so that our kids can run safely.
There is so much mulch (actual wood chunks) and other clumpy matter in this soil that it has destroyed our lawn. It is now completely unsafe for small children to play and for mowing with a push mower (it kicks up dangerously.)

The product sent was clay, not top soil. I complained and received the most ridiculous response, and ended up buying 24 bags of top soil to replace this.

Not top dressing soil!
This is absolutely terrible quality soil. It is advertised as top dressing soil but it is full of stones, gravel and clay. Just plain false advertising. Unfortunately I didn't realize how bad it was until I had spread it all over my lawn. After I overseeded and watered it became very apparent that this is not top dressing soil. I can't believe I paid $200 for this and it has ruined my lawn.
