Description
This Frost® curved shower rod provides elegant and practical use of space in a shower curtain enclosure. For installation, hold the rod up to the desired position, one person at each end, to check the height and location. Be sure that rod is level. With a pencil lightly trace the top and bottom of the wall plate. Set rod down. Remove retaining screws. Separate the wall plates from the rod. Leave swivel connectors on the rod. Place wall plates back on the wall at pencil marks. Mark screw holes at 12 and 6 o’clock positions. Set wall plate aside. Read anchor instructions carefully. Drill screw holes as marked. Install 4 anchors unless a hole is on a stud. Mount wall plates, screw into anchors. Place rod, with swivel connectors attached and set screw holes facing up into wall plates. Screw in retaining screws. Tighten. Adjust rod. Be sure that each end of rod is into the connector far enough to engage set screws and make solid contact. Tighten set screws with Allen wrench.

rust less than a year later
Purchased less than a year ago and it's full of rust already. Avoid. In addition, installation is really awkward. Measuring a chord of an arc is cumbersome to say the least.

Excellent design and materials
Installed on a shower tub unit no problem. Used shorter stainless screws pre drill holes a must. Bar easily cut to fit, take equal amounts off both ends for overall shortening. Compact end mounts make fit to tub unit excellent. Stainless steel is stronger than aluminum and won't rust like chrome will do eventually. One piece bar doesn't snag curtain rings when moving over. Very high quality components. When mounting the ends I neatly used a modest amount of seal all glue just in case. Looks very nice. I've mounted similar lesser quality bars on shower tub units without issue. This one is the best yet. Online delivery was excellent, price was better than any else looked at. Bought a similar bar prior to this one and returned it because it was ugly and crap compared to this one.
