Frigidaire PureSource 2 is a cassette filter that is designed for use on refrigerators after 2004 with filtration systems located in the front, right top. The water filter typically lasts up to 6 months. Certified to meet NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had a Frigidaire refrigerator for over ten years. I use only Frigidaire Pure Source 2 filter. We also use a lot of ice and water from our refrigerator and feel confident that our water and ice are free of any contaminants. We hope that our Frigidaire refrigerator will last another 10 years with the help of Frigidaire Pure Source 2 filter.

doesn't work
Same thing here, when attempting to replace an older filter with the PureSource2 (WF2CB recommended), the filter slides in correctly, but it will not snap in place.
Support line is very bad, spent 2 hours and ask me check Kijiji? seriously?

A heavy taste
Bought and installed a new filter. After flushing two quarts through the system it still tastes heavy and unable to drink it. The unit must be defective in some way and I will return it. The existing filter is fine and I will continue to use it instead

Tastes like poison!
Just installed a new filter. I ran three or four cups of water through the filter. It tasted like poison. I’ll take it back for a refund as the part MUST be defective.
How is that even possible?

Convenience
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the convenience of ordering my fridge filter online and is quick and easy to install. Please send me a form I can fill out when ready to order again. However I ordered 3 so have a few years to go. You used to send me notices but since I'm only one person using I don't need notices as often. Once a year is good however. Thank you
